How to program an RCA Universal remote?
- Press and hold the device key (Here, the TV) on the remote
- The POWER button will start illuminating
- Keep holding the TV key and enter the first code for your TV brand
- Continue to hold the TV button
- When the POWER button is lit, you have entered the right code
- If the POWER button has blinked 4 times, you have entered the wrong code
- Re-enter the code, and when the POWER button lit, release the TV button
- Check various functions on the remote, whether it is working fine with your TV
How to program an RCA universal remote without a code?

Turn on your TV and point the remote at it.

Press and hold the TV button. You’ll see the power light come on. Don’t let go of the TV button yet.

While holding the TV button, also press and hold the Power button. The red light will turn off and then come back on. Now you can let go of both buttons.

Press the Play button every five seconds until the TV turns off.

When the TV turns off, press the Reverse button every three seconds.

As soon as the TV turns back on, press the Stop button to save the code.
How to program the RCA remote with the code search button

Turn on your device and point the remote at it.

Press and hold the Code Search button until the top light turns on.

Press the button for the device you’re setting up (like TV if it’s a TV). The light will blink once and stay on.

Press the Power button and watch the light. It should start blinking while the remote looks for the right code.

If it doesn’t blink on its own, press the Power button every 2 to 3 seconds.

When your device turns off, that means it has found the correct code.
