How to program the Zenith remote to a TV?
- Turn ON your TV
- Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until the remote’s LED lights up, then release the button.
- Now, press and release the TV button. The light will blink twice and remain lit.
- Find a 3-digit Zenith remote code from the above list for your TV brand and enter it using the number keys.
- Once you enter the code correctly, the indicator light will be turned OFF
- The remote is now ready to use
If the remote LED blinks fast after entering the code, it indicates that the code you have entered is wrong. Try with another code from the list.
Programming the zenith remote having no Search code button
For earlier models like Zen 100, there may not be a code search button on it. Use the following instructions for such remotes.
- Turn on your TV
- Press and hold the TV button on the remote until the LED light turns ON
- Find the 3-digit code from the list and enter it using the REWIND, PLAY, and FAST-FORWARD buttons.
Let me show you how to do this,
For example, if the code is 123, press the REW button once, the PLAY button twice, and the FF button three times.
If the number is 0, then skip the step.
For example, if the code is 012, do not press the REW button. Press the PLAY button once, and the FF button twice.

How to program Zenith remote without codes?
The code for your TV brand is not listed?
Do not worry, I am going to show you how to pair without the code.
- Turn on the TV
- Press and hold the TV mode button until the indicator lights up
- Press the POWER button and it’ll initiate a code search
- Cycle through the codes by continuously pressing and releasing the Channel UP (+) button.
- Keep pressing the CHANNEL + button until the TV responds.
For example, if the matched code is 110, you should press it the corresponding number of times for the TV to respond to the remote.
If you skip over the code, you can press the Channel – button to go back to it.
When your TV responds, like turn OFF, or channel change, press the MUTE button to save the code.
For the automatic code search method, when you identify the code, remember to note it down somewhere to program it for future references to pair with the code.
